Here are some more random details about the upcoming convention with some very important registration details at the end. (NOTE: reference links are included at the end for more information)
Great news on many aspects of the convention. We have many seminars available, vending of Class C is happening (despite the national shortages), and we will have the Trade Show and Vendor Supply.
Just a reminder for supply vendors, members, and manufacturers. Vendor Supply will be in the Livestock building with hours in Fargo of 1pm to 5pm every day, Saturday thru Thursday. On Friday, the last day of convention, Vendor Supply will be open from 4pm to 6pm. They will close and start tearing down at 6pm Friday. Chances are vendors will be packed up before the public display on Friday. This means you must get last-minute panic buying done before the public display on Friday. Any last-minute deals will happen at that time. Our Supply Vendor Chair is Tim Nowicki.
Folks are already making and planning their Cracker Burn donations. Libbie McCloskey firstname.lastname@example.org is coordinating this event again this year. The Class C vending area will have a donation box set aside so you can buy cracker strings all week and donate them in the box. Contact Libbie to lend a hand in helping make Cracker Burn another great aspect of the Friday night events.
Seminars and Workshops
Early registration for some of the seminars is available now on the PGI website. The complete list of seminars as available on Whova is found on our website's Convention tab behind the big red "AGENDA" - yep, click on the big red "AGENDA".

Pre-registration for additional workshops will happen on Saturday August 8th from 1-3pm in the Hartl Meeting Room (behind Registration). If you absolutely cannot make this session, because of a later arrival time but want to get signed up for a specific workshop, send an email to email@example.com with your name and the workshop in which you wish to participate. All workshops and seminars will have room for members to observe, even if the hands-on slots are filled.
This app is now live for this year's convention. Contact Bruce at VPComm@pgi.org if you did not get the code. Remember the code is only for current members of the PGI and or those currently registered for the Fargo convention.
We need help prepping for the Saturday Afterglow! Please email Libbie to volunteer (Libbie888@comcast.net). We will also need help serving at the Sunday Afterglow.
4F - Tuesday Night Only
This is something the Class C vendors generously provide, but it always optional. This year they will be hosting a 4F on Tuesday night at 5pm (there is no 4F on Saturday this year). Both Class C sales and open shooting will continue as usual at 5pm.
All Stars 2021
You can still help the All Stars by donating money and/or materials. Contact any of the guys listed below (the All Stars organizers). See below for some of what they have already done.

Evening Fireworks Display Schedule
We have a great display lineup planned for this convention. It is not completely finalized so we do not want to announce it just yet.
Some great news on the All Star presentation from Aaron Mayfield of AM Pyro, who hosted a shell building event this past Spring with many of our All Star members participating. What they were able to build during that time sounds very exciting. To quote Aaron on their discussion while making these shells, "how much lift goes under a shell that weighs 90lbs?" The smallest shells they made over the 10-day event were 8-inches. The All Stars plan to use these shells in both the PGI All Star presentation at convention and at Western Winter Blast in February 2022.

Monday Town Hall Agenda
1. Call to Order; 2. Establish the presence of a quorum (this is required for the convention to conduct a business meeting, if established, proceed with the business meeting); 3. Approval of minutes from the 2019 Business Meeting; 4. Time to reflect and look ahead; 5. State of the PGI Board of Directors and MSM; 6. Major chairs: brief updates as needed; 7. Host, RRVF, and CVB Report; 8. Election options presented by the 1st Vice-President - motion required; 9. Open Nominations based on election motion carried; 10, Explanation of voting procedures- John Brooke; 11. Grants and Honoraria; 12. Other updates (if time allows, if not defer to Thursday); 13. Suspend meeting until Thursday Thursday Town Hall Meeting Agenda 1. Call to Order; 2. Attendance update for Fargo convention; 3. Decisions on Grants and Honoraria; 4. Continue nominations for slated offices; 5. Close nominations for each of these offices; 6. Campaign speeches for each contested office (5-minutes length); 7. Q & A of candidates from contested offices; 8. Carry over of any updates from Monday's meeting; 9. Announce time and place for voting; 10. Closing comments; 11. Call for motion to adjourn the meeting
Very Important Registration Information
You can register for convention or pickup your badge on Saturday evening until 8:00pm. Because there is a show on Saturday, registration will shut down at 8:00pm. Do not be the 100th person in line at 7:45pm - you will not get through in time. If you are pre-registered, you can get in and get your badge until 8pm. If you are unable to register Saturday evening you will have to wait until Sunday morning when registration re-opens.
Remember, convention registration is open online with payment by credit card.

Online Convention Registration
Online convention registration is now live, and that pre-registration will close at 5pm CST on Wednesday, August 4th. After that timeframe, members will only be able to register onsite.
Membership Services Hours
Finally, please remember that Membership Services closes on Wednesday, August 4th, at 5pm CST (pre-convention). This is also when all pre-registration closes, and any registrations received, by mail or electronically, after that date (Aug. 4, 2021 @ 5pm CST) may not be processed. If registering after that date, it will be best to do so at convention (as always: Checks are not accepted at convention.) or download/print the 2021 PGI Convention Registration Form, or visit our PGI.org website.
