At every convention, there are a large variety of seminars and workshops that appeal to all members of the Guild and their families. The content of the presentations ranges from simple to complex, from party favors for children of all ages to advanced multi-break shell construction.
The preliminary schedule and pre-registration will be provided in the July bulletin as well as on-line at this site and a final schedule of events provided in the convention program. Early registration will be available for some classes, but not all. On site registration is available starting the first day of the convention, and will remain available until the classes requiring registration fill up. Only classes that require a fee and are limited in size require any form of registration. Most seminars and workshops are show up and enjoy. Do not feel that you are missing everything when a few workshops fill up early in the week.
The PGI shooter’s certification class is always held on Wednesday of convention week. Remember that renewals of certifications are required with continuing education.
For 2008 I’d like to see more children’s workshops, as well as more on chemistry, shell building techniques, laws and regulations.
