The Pyrotechnics Guild International, Inc. presents

"Wyoming Firefest 2008"

Saturday August 9, 2008 through Friday August 15, 2008

at the Cam-Plex in Gillette, Wyoming

If you missed the Gillette Wyoming convention in 1998 and in 2003, here is your chance to make it up to yourself.

The Cam-Plex venue is simply luxurious. Everything is on one site, even the banquet.

The shooting ranges are wide open, the buildings are spacious, and the western hospitality is gracious.

The Cam-Plex facility offers the best on-site camping of any PGI convention venue.

Great displays. Great demos. Great seminars. Superb vending. Everything you could possibly want at a PGI event will be here.

And, this is the convention to add some time to: the Badlands, the Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore, and Devil's Tower (remember close encounters of the third kind?) are all just a few hours drive away.

A one day drive to the west and you can see Yellowstone and the Tetons!

United Airlines will be offering three new arrivals and three new departures daily between Gillette and Denver starting March 30. The flights will be operated by Mesa Airlines as United Express, a regional carrier affiliated with United Airlines. You can also fly cheaply round trip from Denver and rent a car.

You can rent an RV in Billings and drive it down.

The advertised hotel rates of $169+ have been reduced for us and there are lots of other options for lodging.

Mention the PGI when you book your room as we have a block of 430 rooms at $100 to $129 per night. Detailed information regarding lodging, camping, RV rental, car rental, and restaurant info can be found on the Cam-Plex PGI Information Page

So, come on out and enjoy one of PGI's best kept secrets: the wild and wooly western adventures of Wyoming.

Requests for Convention Registration Forms by PGI members, should be sent to membership@pgi.org or call Robin Cleveland, Membership Manager at 920-558-4681.  Non-members wishing to join should visit the membership page.

The general public is invited to purchase tickets to attend the nightly PGI displays.  Further information for general public admission will be released soon.

Seminar information is available on the Seminars page.
